Tania Rodríguez is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biotechnology at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Querétaro, where she works with agriculture, geospatial analytics, and plant-microbe interactions. Her research explores how plant and soil biomarkers can be integrated into decision-support models that help preserve the nutritional value of cereals while maintaining soil health.
Originally trained as a biochemical engineer, Tania gradually found her way into entrepreneurship and agricultural innovation. Alongside her doctoral research, she mentors young agricultural professionals in digital tools, helping translate technical knowledge into practical applications in close collaboration with experienced producers.
Tania joins the Kirchner Fellowship with the goal of combining innovation and impact investing to accelerate climate-resilient technologies that create lasting value for communities and the environment. She is passionate about transforming scientific knowledge into practical tools that build more resilient and sustainable agricultural systems.
