Marion is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Digital Humanities and has a Bachelor’s in International Business from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in León, Mexico. She is passionate about achieving sustainability through socially-driven undertakings and disruptive innovation concentrated on impactful businesses.
As an advocate, Marion served as a Mexican representative in the XV Educating Cities Congress in Portugal, where she participated as a councilmember of the City’s Education Council in León. She also took part in the Local COY Mexico as an organizer in 2020 and co-founded León 2030, an NGO aimed to professionalize activism. During her undergraduate studies, she had various social-focused experiences that led to her interest in working to achieve food security, such as the precarious harvesting processes of indigenous people in her city.
She believes that merging a social focus with profitable and innovative businesses can help tackle essential issues such as inequality, improvement of life quality, and a fairer access to goods.
