Alfonso is pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainable Technology at the Autonomous University of Queretaro, focusing on developing a digital twin for profitable microalgae farming. As the Responsible Sourcing Head for Latin America at Kellanova, he leads programs for Scope 3 GHG emission reduction, human rights verification, and zero- deforestation in the supply chain.

With experience in various roles within the agricultural and food processing value chains, Alfonso leverages his digital skills and business acumen to achieve business results. He is passionate about food security and sustainability, believing that the alignment of the corporate and finance sectors with technology is essential to meeting global climate goals and building a more equitable society.

As a consultant, Alfonso supports farmers in developing diverse crop projects and aims to inspire younger generations to create companies addressing climate change challenges in the food sector. He advocates for social entrepreneurship and finance as key drivers for achieving sustainable and equitable access to food.
