Mariana Martínez is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Biosystems Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey. She is interested in biotechnology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on animal health and sustainable agriculture. Her academic path reflects a strong motivation to use science and innovation to improve agricultural systems and contribute to practical solutions with positive impact.

Through her academic and professional experiences, Mariana has worked on research and project management, developing practical solutions that create social and environmental value. Her interests bring together scientific curiosity, applied problem solving, and a commitment to advancing more sustainable approaches within agriculture and related systems.

Mariana joins the Kirchner Fellowship as an opportunity to learn from experienced investors and entrepreneurs while developing the skills needed to support ventures with meaningful social and environmental impact. She is motivated by the possibility of connecting biotechnology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship to help build solutions that benefit people, animals, and agricultural communities.
